Obituary of George Osborne Fellows
June 23, 1940 – October 29th, 2018.
Brighton - George O. Fellows, 78, native of Syracuse, NY and longtime resident of Brighton, NY passed away peacefully in the company of his loving family after a formidable and awe-inspiring fight with a long illness. He was a graduate of Alfred State and held positions at Farrell finally retiring from Delphi after 29 years. He spent his life as a devoted and loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather always happy to lend a hand, share tools, fix-it wisdom, and ensured all had what was best. As man of few words, his days were filled with do-it-yourself ingenuity and home improvement projects paying meticulous attention and pride into making our house a home. He loved powerful muscle cars, enjoyed spirited car races, and working on cars. He was loved by all that knew him. He will be sorely missed and leaves a void that will never be filled.
George was predeceased by his father, Clayton Fellows in 1975; his mother, Ethel O. Fellows in 1985; and most recently his sister, Lillian M. Davitt in 2014.
George will be forever loved by his wife of 46 years, Sally Fellows of Brighton, NY; his eldest son, Hal Fellows (Christine) of Livonia, NY; his daughter, Stacey Radziewicz (James) of Arlington, MA; and his youngest daughter, April Genrich (Greg) of Brighton, NY. He will eternally be treasured by his five grandchildren, Shawn (Michalena), Theresa (Shawn), Sarah, Mary and Ashley; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Adeline; and several nieces and nephews.
