Michael was a year ahead of me and always was a nice guy. He was tremendous in size and we all looked up to him when we were kids at Forest Rd school. May he find peace and blessings with God.

Dear Donna, Sean, and Liz,
I am at a loss for words, this caught me totally by surprise. Please know that you all have my deepest sympathies. I know you know what Mike meant to me, as you all do. I remember every minute of the 13 years we spent together. He helped me as much as I helped him. Through all the adventures (and misadventures) we had, all the therapies, programs, Sonny, The Hickok Center, endless games of Backgammon and gin rummy, cooking, walking Freckles, on and on, the things I remember the most are his infectious grin and positive attitude, day in and day out.
I am so sorry, and I love you all. I know that he is with his Mom now.

It was by chance that Mike, Donna and I got to continue our childhood friendship in Western, NY. I always felt so lucky to have them in my life. Mike, you were one of the kindest and most peaceful guys I've ever known. I will miss your humor and subtle insights.
