Obituary of Ronald Arthur Schoeneberger

Passed away peacefully, November 20, 2018 at age 85.
 

Ronald was born in Rochester in 1933 to Arthur and Marcella Schoeneberger.
He attended The Aquinas Institute and was a graduate of the first class at St. John Fisher in 1955. He received his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown Law in 1958. 
 

He was professionally accomplished, spending most his career involved in International Banking and Finance at Chase Lincoln Bank. He was an adjunct faculty member at St. John Fisher and after his retirement became the Co-founder and Partner of RA Schoeneberger & Associates consulting firm. 
 

He was actively involved in his community as a member of the advisory board for the International Business Council of Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce -where he was president for many years, a founding member of the World Trade Center of Buffalo Niagara and a Trustee and Vice Chair of Finance at St. John Fisher. 
 

He was predeceased by his parents and by his brother, Robert L. Schoeneberger. His is survived by and will be deeply missed by his lovely wife of 55 years, Maureen;their daughter, Kathleen (Chris) Weitz and grandson, Ryan of Ellington, CT; sister-in-law, Eileen Casey; Niece Shannon Casey and special great-nephew Zachary (Amy) Erick of Boise, ID.
 

Colleagues and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass held at 10:00am on TUESDAY, November 27 at St. Catherine of Siena (26 Mendon Ionia Rd., Mendon, NY 14506). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Catherine of Siena or to The Aquinas Institute (1127 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14613).
