Obituary of Dorothy L. Kinyon

Dorothy Lucille Martin Kinyon passed away on December 12, 2018. She was the daughter of William and Mary Martin of Perry, NY born on April 27, 1921.  She was predeceased by husband Charles W. Kinyon. She is survived by her son, Charles Kinyon (Sue); daughter, Nancy Bircher (Robert); 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was a graduate of Perry High School and Rochester Business Institute. She worked for many years at the Atomic Energy Research Institute.  Dorothy was a longtime resident of Henrietta and Scottsville where her husband Charles was the Wheatland Chili Superintendent of Schools.

The family wishes to extend a thank-you to the staff at the Gables of Brighton and “Loving Care” private aides for all of their love and support.

She will be interned with her husband Charles (an Army Air-Force WW II hero) at Arlington National Cemetery in the spring.
