Obituary of Mayeed-ur Rahman

Dr. Mayeed-ur Rahman passed away on December 13, 2018, at the age of 88.  Predeceased by two brothers, two sisters and his parents.  The Patriarch of a large family in the US and Bangladesh is survived by Marcia his wife of 55 years; sons, Khaled, Shaheen and Tarek; daughter, Shireen; three daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren, five sisters, and countless cousins, nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed laughing with his grandchildren, loved animals and the Bills, and gave of himself to those less fortunate. 
 

Mayeed worked as a board certified psychiatrist for over five decades, including most recently as the Director of Behavioral Services at Clifton Springs Hospital. 
 

The family will receive friends between 12 PM and 1 PM on SUNDAY December 16, 2018, at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. at 3325 Winton Rd. S. followed by a procession to the Rochester Islamic Center and then White Haven Memorial Park.
