Obituary of Jimmie C. Morgan

Peacefully passed away on 12/25/18 with his wife of 67 years by his side. Survived by his wife Marcella Juanice and sons Denny (Lori), Tom (Cheryl) and Fred (Amy) and daughter Kim Davis (Ed) with one son deceased, Joe Morgan. Additionally, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild survive him.
Born in Diamond, Missouri in 1932. He graduated with honors from University of Missouri at Rolla with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1963. He worked at Rocketdyne in Neosho, Missouri on Space Spy programs. He moved to Rochester in 1966 and continued to work on Space hardware at Eastman Kodak. He retired in 1992. His interests included gardening, golfing, bowling and reading. He helped establish the Southside Church of Christ on May 1967 and served as an elder, ministry leader, and many other roles. He was also the bowling league secretary for 20 years.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held FRIDAY 4-7 at the Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Rd. S. Interment Private. Memorial Service will be held at the Southside Church of Christ at 1484 Calkins Road, Pittsford on SATURDAY at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Church. Church Website.
