To my cousins, I can only imagine how much you will miss Gary. His suffering is over and that is a mercy. But, he is no longer there to listen and talk. You will surely miss that, though he was not a talkative man. I think we are all diminished by his passing. I am so sorry he is gone.

I will always remember Gary as my gentle giant cousin. While it had been many years since seeing him, I recall hearing his name in many conversations when family gathered. His name was synonymous with “good guy”. I like to think he is visiting with His parents and all his Whalen family. I am sorry I cannot make Gary’s funeral as we now live in California. Gerry and I send our love to you all.
