My deepest sympathy go out to Dr. Anil Sawhney's family and close friends. I know he will be surely missed by all those who loved him as well as his patients that he served.
I have been a patient in Dr. Sawhney's dental practice, since he opened in LeRoy some 30 years ago. I was very saddened to learn of his passing. Dr. Sawhney was kind, considerate and always greeted you with a friendly smile and treated you with compassion, making sure he wasn't hurting while he was working in one's mouth.
I will never forget the kindness and generosity he provided to a young man that I took in for awhile for he had no place to live. Two days after living with me he developed an abscessed tooth. I did not have the money to pay for dental care for the young man but Dr. Sawhney treated him free of charge.
He was a wonderful man and I shall truly miss him!

Dear Param, Monica and Neil,
We are really sorry for your great loss and the whole community has lost a very caring person, who would give the shirt off his back without any one knowing. Param you had a great husband and Monica and Neil a great father. We are so sad we could we could not be there during this difficult time. He truly was an inspiration to all. May his soul Rest In Peace, our prayers and condolences with the whole Sawhney family.

I met Anil once and liked him immediately. His daughter Monica is a living testament to the love for family that Anil demonstrated throughout his life.

I remember him fondly as a loving father, husband, and doctor. I taught Monica and Neil at Sunshine Nursery School in LeRoy. Dr. Sawhney was a very kind and gentle man. I feel blessed to have crossed paths with him.

I am so saddened with this news.
Dr. Sawhney was truly a great man.
I met him over 30 years ago when I was the principal of Wolcott St. School in LeRoy where his wonderful children were students during their early grades.
I was a patient of Dr. Sawhney those three decades as well. He always had a kind word, a wonderful smile, and caring way for everyone he encountered.
I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Sawhney's passing....but know that the world was and is a better place for Dr. Sawhney's legacy.

Years ago I nannied for Dr. sawhney. I had the great privelige to care for his children. My son was very young at the time and he was amazing with him. I am grateful to have known him as a employer as well as my dentist. Rest in peace. This is a sad day.
