Obituary of Elizabeth Payton

On January 13 at age 75 our loving & dedicated mother, sister & friend went home to the Lord.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Tony Payton; brother, Johnny Cockrell. Liz lived & breathed family & gracefully raised her 2 sons, Trevor and Kenrick; granddaughter, Kalissa Payton; great-granddaughter, Aaliyah. She will be dearly missed by her siblings, Jacob (Nerma) Cockrell, Eddie (Shirley) Cockrell, Abnor Cockrell, Cleopatra Hucks, Booker Rene (John) Coats & Annie (Trevor) Sealy; many nieces & nephews; other family members & friends.

Family & friends are invited to call MONDAY, January 21st, 10-11:30 AM at Memorial AME Zion Church (549 Clarissa St, 14608). There will be a time to share stories of Liz between 11-11:30. Liz's funeral service will follow at 11:30. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
