Robert J. Flanigan
Passed away January 29, 2019 at age 81. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard D. & Alice (Merrill) Flanigan. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley (O’Connor) Flanigan; children, Kathleen Flanigan & Michael Flanigan; several cousins and many dear friends.
Robert proudly served in the Army National Guard and was a long-time Professor of Chemistry at MCC.
Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass on Monday, February 4th at 10AM at Saint Anne Church, (1600 Mt. Hope Avenue). A Celebration of Robert’s life will follow the service from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM in the Horizon Room at Brickstone (1325 Elmwood Avenue). Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Anne Church (1600 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620), the Wilmot Cancer Center ( 300 E. River Road, PO Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627)or a charity of your choice.
