I worked with Ed for 11 years at Brandon Circle. I don't think I've ever met a more cheerful person. I believe that's why he had SO many friends wherever he went. He will be greatly missed.
Condolences to his entire family, but especially to his parents. I can't imagine the depth of sadness in losing a child. May God bring you comfort and peace.

Dear Cookie and Ed,
We feel like we know your son, Eddie, through your stories of his childhood and most recently his accomplishments as an adult. During this most difficult time we pray you will find grace and feel the love of God surround you.
Here is a poem by Ron Tranmer that hopefully will give you comfort:
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our Family Chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
God bless you.

We will miss you Ed. I will miss your daily walks past my office — stopping to “scare” me, to collect empty bottles, to show me how proud you were of your walking, reminding me to be careful when I was driving home, or of course, to ask me if you had Brockport that week! I will miss seeing you every Thursday night — watching you socialize with everyone you could. Whenever I hear “who let the dogs out” I will think of you. You will be remembered always.
Thank you for the smiles you brought to people every day !
