Obituary of Donna Rae DiLella

Passed away March 30, 2019 at age 86. She was born March 29, 1933 in Cohocton, NY.

Predeceased by her husband Dante, her brother Richard Towner and her niece Lisa Fraser. Survived by her children Paul (Dawn), Eric (Amanda), Steven (Carla); Grandchildren: Dante (Melissa), Adam (Haley), Jenell (CJ) Kosmicki, Jesse, Jaime, Flint, Nina, Emily (Allan) Faxon; Great-Grandchildren: Rowan, Riley, Alanna, Jaxsin.  Brother Jerry (Laura) Towner, Sister Pat (Charley) Lookup, Brother Roger (Carolyn) Towner, Cousins June Jackson Murray, Vaughn Jackson and Janet Hewson. Special friends Corky and Bob Walton, Julia and Natalie Pavia.  Many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Graduated from Rochester General Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. Donna was a Registered nurse for more than 40 years.  Her compassion and nurturing spirit went beyond the many hours spent in hospitals and far beyond her retirement date.  

Friends and family are invited to call 9:30-11:30 AM, Saturday April 27th, at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Road South). Donna's Service will follow at 11:30 AM in the funeral home's chapel.
We, the many family and friends that have been blessed to have known her, ask that if you should feel inspired, take a walk in her favorite park: Tinker in Henrietta. Look for the bench there with her name.  Donate to the park. And especially, thank the next nurse that touches your life.
