Donna,
I ran at least one Ragnar with Steve, and met at your house before and after the race. I moved to NC about 3 years ago and just found out about his passing. So hard to believe! He was so full of life! I'm comforted by the fruit of his faith and look forward to seeing him again, but I just wanted to pass along my condolences to you and your family. I'm so sorry for your loss and I will be praying for God's continual comfort for you and family, during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathies go out to Steve’s wife Donna and his family. Steve was clearly loved by so many and left a lasting impression. I mostly remember Steve from growing up at First Bible Baptist Church and from Northstar Christian Academy. I saw countless photos that he posted on FB of him running, photos with his wife and the beautiful puppies that he and his wife cared for. My heart breaks for his family.

Donna: So sorry for the loss of Steve. His running family has lost a genuine great guy and he will be truly missed. Everything about Steve was upbeat, even when he couldn’t run, he was always positive.
To me personally, when I was hurt or not running well, Steve was always the beacon of encouragement and motivation. I will miss his smile, his never give up
attitude and even the occasional bag of the newest coffee flavor.
