Obituary of Marilyn Louise Zientara

Originally from Troy, Ohio died peacefully from unexpected complications following surgery on May 19, 2019 at age 78. Predeceased by her parents, Lawrence & Frances McKenny; brothers, Richard, Lawrence and Charles McKenny. Survived by her loving husband, Gene; son, David (Arlette); daughters, Kathryn Ciurca and Jane (Eric) Kellerman; brother, Thomas (Joyce) McKenny; sister, Carolyn Root; sister-in-law, Sharon McKenny; grandchildren, Sara and Evan Ciurca, Ella and Luca Zientara, and foster grandson; many nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the dedicated doctors, nurses, PA's and staff at the Highland Hospital ICU for their constant care and support.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 24, from 4-7 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Marilyn's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, May 25, at 10 AM at St. Marianne Cope Parish at St. Joseph (1209 Rush West Rd). Interment private. Donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to Marianne Cope Parish, or the Mercy Prayer Center.
