Obituary of Dorothy Sue Sugrue

Age 90, passed away June 4, 2019. Sue was predeceased by her husband James Sugrue, siblings Jean (Russell) Purves, Sister Joseph Gilmary SSJ and Joseph Russell. She will be dearly missed by her nieces Christine Snyder and Jodie Russell, her nephew Dan Russell, her extended family Raeanne, Christina and Steve Perry, Desiree and Rylea Dixon.
She will be remembered for her wit, sense of compassion, and the ability to tell stories. Her love for the 19th Ward, Russell's Hot Dog Stand - the family business, a good manicure and her coworkers, family and friends each were woven into many conversations. 
Please join the family for a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas More Church 2617 East Avenue, Rochester NY on Friday, June 7 at 10 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Those wishing may donate to the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse in her memory. (Motherhouse Website)
