On June 21, 2019 at age 83. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Joan “Gianna” Glavin; brother, Peter Glavin; grandson, Max Glavin-Beiner. Survived by his 4 daughters, Colleen (Bernard) Beiner of Ridgefield, CT, Christine (Eric) Kleiber of Alexandria, VA, Corrine (Peter) Krumenacker of Raleigh, NC & Cielene (Don) Aleksejus of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Katherine Beiner, Kaitlin, Erin, Thomas (Brigitte), Christopher & Karolin Kleiber, Megan Krumenacker; siblings, Thomas (Elizabeth Anne) Glavin, Kathleen (Michael) Kanealey, Daniel (Catherine) Glavin, William Glavin, Mary Beth (Michael) Hasenauer & Christine Glavin; many nieces and nephews.
John attended the University of Notre Dame and Fordham Law School, he practiced law for over 50 years in Rochester as the Robinson & Glavin firm and was the Wheatland Town Attorney.
Family and friends are invited to call, Friday, June 28th from 4-7 PM at Miller Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., (3325 Winton Road South). John's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, June 29th at 10AM in Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, 99 Main Street, Scottsville, with a reception to follow. Interment private.
