I came to know Bill through our membership in the Artists' Breakfast Group, a collective of artists of many different media.I used to take him to the meetings while he lived at the Meadows. He was kind, warm, interested in what others were doing and kept me apprised of his exhibits at the Meadows.
I told ABG about his death this morning, and they were saddened to hear of it. He was always present at our hanging of shows, attended meetings (8:00 AM on Tuesdays!)and was known for his gentle, affirming, good-humored style.
He will be missed, as I know will all of you.
