Obituary of Alice L. Barr

Alice Lee Barr “Punkin” was born on October 6, 1955 in MT. Dora FL, to John Barr from the

Bahamas and Viola Barr who was from Mt Dora, FL.

After she and her family moved from Florida, she attended #27 school and went on to Franklin

High. She then attended MCC where she received her degree in Human Services. In the early

90’s she began to study with Jehovah’s Witnesses; although she never dedicated her life, she

had an immense love for Jehovah and always encouraged her family to get to know him.

Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and was the proud mother of 3 wonderful

daughters. She also loved shopping and taking long, breezy rides in the car. Alice displayed

such a caring spirit, that anyone who came in contact with her, even if just for a moment, felt

welcomed and loved. Alice was a prankster who had a great sense of humor and such an

infectious laugh; everyone wanted to be around her. She was the best listener and always gave

encouraging, positive advice. Alice truly meant so many things to so many people, yes…Alice

was a mother to so many.
