Obituary of Raymer Ottman

Passed away July 29, 2019 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his parents, Charles Raymer & Inez Marie Ottman; step-mother, Martha Meyers Ottman; and sister, Yvonne Ottman Gilbert. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Catherine; children, Raymer, Randy (Tracy), Ricky, Rhonda, and Renee (Frank); 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and many extended family and friends.

Purpose driven life, so many accomplishments, served his country, in the Korean War.

Attended Geneva High School, Morrisville, and RIT. Director of Engineering and Construction at MCWA for 35 years.

Active member; Rotary (Paul Harris Award), Conservative party, Pheasants forever, Faith United, Habitat Humanity, started RH Boosters, avid hunter, sportsman. Supported the Henrietta community. 

Loved his Faith, Family and Friends. Lived a simpler life, so he could give more. His beloved hunting and jogging companions "his pups".

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 2, from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Raymer's Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 3, at 11 AM at Faith United Methodist Church (174 Pinnacle Rd). Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rochester AM Rotary or Faith United Methodist Church.
