Obituary of Janet M. Carroll

Janet Carroll passed away Tuesday August 6th at the age of 88 in her home where she and her husband raised their eight children. She was predeceased by her husband, Tom, her sister, Eleanor, and her twin sister Jean.  Janet is survived by her 8 children: Michael(Roxanne) Carroll, Debbie Carroll(Louie Bergen), Dennis(Patty) Carroll, Tom(Lucy) Carroll, Kathy Carroll(Fred Arnowich), Matt Carroll, Diane Carroll, Ann Margaret(Steve) Green, 20 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

As a graduate of the UR School of Nursing in 1952, while raising her family she worked for many years until retirement in several local nursing homes. Throughout her life she was an active volunteer in many capacities at Guardian Angels Church and school as well as St Marianne Cope Parish. She enjoyed puzzles, games and her pets.

Janet loved her family and found great joy in being a grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness and will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Friends and family may call between the hours of 2 & 4pm on SUNDAY, Aug. 11, 2019 at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc (3325 Winton Rd S). Memorial Mass will be 10am on MONDAY, Aug 12th at St. Marianne Cope Parish at Guardian Angel's, (2061 E Henrietta Rd) followed by an Inurnment at Ascension Garden Cemetery.
