Dorothy M. Watson
Pittsford: Peacefully passed Sunday, August 25, 2019 at age 87 surrounded by family at Highland Hospital. Survived by her family, Julie Willard (Jeff); Jim Watson (Barb Goodwin), Christine Major (Nathan); Catherine Schafer (Patrick); Lucas and Eleanor Major; Jack Schafer; Robert and Marc Watson and many close and loving friends.
Dorothy was a lifelong Pittsford resident, dedicated volunteer, and cherished her friends at Pittsford Senior Citizens and in the local community. Among her many accolades, she was honored as 2009 Pittsford Citizen of the Year. Her dedication was also shown by spending her entire career with the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce.
Family would like to sincerely thank the staff in the ICU at Highland Hospital.
Friends may call Friday, Aug. 30th, 6pm-8pm at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, 3325 Winton Road South. Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 31st at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 28 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsford. Interment immediately following at White Haven.
