Obituary of James E. Rauber

A proud Air Force Vietnam Veteran, devoted husband, loving father and papa, passed away suddenly on August 29, 2019. Remembered for his stories, quick wit, "Jimisms".

Predeceased by his parents, Francis Edward Rauber and Ann Theresa Rauber; brother, Michael Patrick Rauber; brother-in-law, David John Maxon; father and mother-in-law, John and Carol Maxon. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lynda Rauber; children, Cara (Shaun Herford) Rauber, Marc (Katie) Rauber; beloved grandchildren, Mikey and Cali Rogers, Miles Rauber; siblings, Thomas (Gail) Rauber, Frances (Warren) Gebhart, Anne Rauber, Eileen Skivington, Joseph Rauber; sister-in-laws, Ellen Maimone, Angie Maxon (Gregory) Cooper; brother-in-laws, Thomas (Fran) Maxon, Michael Maxon; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Diane Conley and Jan Miller.

Family and friends are invited to call on SUNDAY, September 1, from 2-4 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Jim's Funeral Service to follow immediately at 4 PM in the Miller Interfaith Chapel. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the VA.
