William E. Symonds

West Henrietta – October 24 2019 at age 89. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeannette; children Ed (Karen) Symonds, Mike (Valorie) Symonds; grandchildren Dan (Alexandria) Symonds, Beth (Aaron) Adams, Rachael (Bill) Kohlmeier, Jennifer (Scott) Houtz; great grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Bill grew up on a farm in Pittsford where, at a young age, he developed a love of hunting and fishing. He went to Korea for two years with the US Army. Upon his return he married and started working in construction as a heavy equipment operator. After his retirement he continued to work part time on a local farm. Bill was also a life member of the West Henrietta Fire Dept. and a past Fire Chief. He was also one of Henrietta Fire District's original Fire Commissioners. He and Jeannette have been members of St. Marianne Cope Parish for over 60 years.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Avon Nursing Home for the amazing care he received for the last 8 months.

Service and internment will be at the convenience of the family.
