Henrietta:  With the hope of the Resurrection, departed to be with the Lord on October 31, 2019 at age 78. Wageeh Makary Sifain, a talented chemical engineer loved his family and the Lord with all his heart. He had a unique love for literature, poetry, music, ballet, and the arts. He will be remembered for his sharp intellect and wittiness. Loved by all, he will be missed by his family and many friends. Predeceased by his brother, Magdy Sifain, sister, Samia Serry. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Evelyn Sifain; sons, Shadi (Fabiana) Sifain, Amgad (Maryan) Sifain, grandchildren, Elijah, Olivia, and Michael; siblings, Nawal Sifain, Laurice Sifain, Zarif (Salwa) Sifain; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

 

Divine Liturgy and Funeral Prayers were held at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church. Donations may be made to St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, 530 Lehigh Station Rd, West Henrietta NY 14586.
