Obituary of Joy B. Titus

Joy Bond Titus, age 74, of Greece/Henrietta, passed away peacefully in her sleep and went to see her Lord and Savior the morning of January 5, 2020.  Joy was born February 28, 1945, to LaRue and Lucille Hill in Irondequoit, New York where she grew up. After graduation, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Education in Home Economics at Buffalo State and there met David Sterling Titus. David and Joy married on July 1, 1967, and raised two daughters. 

She loved her family, being a homemaker, gardening, sewing, reading, playing games, and volunteering.  Joy was an active member of Orchard Community Church. She loved to travel and enjoyed her time with friends.

Joy is survived by her loving husband, David, and two daughters, Jill (Ron) L’Esperance and Kim (Brandon) Taylor; grandchildren Jordan and Jaaron L’Esperance, Ethan and Emily Taylor, Heather (Steve) Ekstrom, Heidi (Michael) Pearson, Joshua (Faith) L’Esperance, Jonah (Courtney) L’Esperance, Hayli (Jesse) Becker, and Hollianne (Ben) Ziegler; brother Joe (Bonnie) Hill; brothers and sister-in-law; nephews and a niece.

Friends and family are invited to her Funeral Service 10:30 AM THURSDAY January 9 at Orchard community Church, 2285 Latta Rd., Rochester, NY 14612. Interment private.
