Obituary of James Bowman
Dr. James Bowman passed away peacefully on January 13, 2020 at age 74. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Hattie Bowman; sister, Sandra Bowman; and nephew, Craig Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruby (Musson) Bowman; son, Jamieson (Jane) Bowman, JD; daughter, Dr. Claire Bowman; grandchildren, Clara and Maggie; sisters, Dorothy Bowman Wilson and Betty (Shawn) Turner; nephew, Dr. Barrington (Beth) Howard Price; the Mussons and the Bowmans; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to a wake on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., followed by a concert in celebration of James’ life, beginning at 6:15 p.m., at the Jefferson Avenue Seventh-day Adventist Church, 309 Jefferson Avenue, Rochester, NY 14611.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 12 p.m. at the Jefferson Avenue Seventh-day Adventist Church. Entombment will follow at White Haven Memorial Park.
