George was a great gamer, and a better friend. We met over the game of Dungeons and Dragons and started our journey together in the Forgotten realms where we helped to defend the city of Raven's Bluff. Over the years we have always tried to get together when we could whether he was traveling as a volleyball ref or in any of his other jobs and even managed to try to get together to continue playing the game that brought us together in friendship. George will be sorely missed by many

George had such a welcoming, friendly countenance. We had not seen each other in months but his smile sticks with me. Very sad to hear this news.

A true friend is not someone we have chosen for ourselves, but rather someone God has placed in our lives for a purpose. God bless you dearest George. I love you and miss you. Till we meet again, rest in peace.

The brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon will miss you George!! Especially the New York Xi chapter (University of Rochester) where he was pivotal to helping us earn our charter. He was my unofficial Big Brother (as well as for a couple of other really close brothers) even though we were founders, and I always appreciated his incredibly warm heart and thoughtfulness even across the country when he would reach out on a birthday or on Founder’s day, not to mention how welcoming he was when we saw him back on campus. You will be sorely missed G!
