Obituary of Jeannette D. Symonds

Jeanette [DeMeyer] Symonds passed away on February 21, 2020 at age 92.

Predeceased four months earlier by her husband, William E. Symonds. She is survived by her children: Edward (Karen) Symonds and Michael (Valorie) Symonds; grandchildren: Daniel (Alexandria) Symonds, Elisabeth (Aaron) Adams, Rachael (William) Kohlmeier, and Jennifer (Scott) Houtz; great grandchildren: Callie and Oliver Adams, Ava and Autumn Kohlmeier; nephews, nieces and friends.

Jeannette grew up on a family vegetable farm in the town of Greece. She was an avid horsewoman in her younger years. She worked 14 years at Kodak before getting married and settling in Henrietta. She continued to love gardening, flowers and plants the rest of her life. Jeannette and her husband, Bill were members of St. Marianne Cope Parish for over 60 years.

No prior calling hours. A Mass celebrating Jeannette’s life will be held at 10:00am on FRIDAY, Feb. 28, 2020 at St. Marianne Cope Parish at Guardian Angel's, 2061 E Henrietta Rd, Henrietta 14623. Interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
