Obituary of Edicta Celorio

Edicta Celorio passed on March 9, 2020 at age 94.

Predeceased by her husband, Julio, as well as her parents, Pedro Leal and Georgina Perez. Survived by sons: Julio and Jose (Jen) Celorio; grandchildren: Cara (Thane) Green, Becky Celorio and Phil (Elena) Celorio, Shane Celorio and Ana (Chris Mowry) Celorio; great-grandchildren Alex and Ava Celorio, Sawyer Mowry and 2 on the way; sisters, Lilia and Esther.

Edicta was a caring and loving mom and adoring grandmother. She came to the US from Cuba in 1962. She worked as a seamstress followed by her career at the U of R and Strong Hospital. She loved to cook, and everyone loved her food.

Memorial Mass to be held at 10:00AM on SATURDAY, March 14, 2020 at Saint Anne Church, 1600 Mt Hope Ave, Rochester, NY 14620 followed by Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
