David I still don't believe that you are gone. I keep looking at my email waiting for an email from you to tell me you're okay. Your departure is so unfair that I feel a lot of anger inside me. Thank you for this year of support. We met because we have the same disease. We support each other and you were my hope. You were very proud of your family. Without knowing them I already felt that they were part of my family of so many things that you told me about them.
I miss you so much

David was my brother. We were only a year and a half apart and spent all our early years together. During the winter, we would race up to Genesee Park ice skating rink everyday after school. One of my fondest memories was going to see the movie Oklahoma with our gramma. After, David lustily sang for days, "the corn was as high as an elephant's eye." During the summer we went swimming everyday at Genesee Valley Park pool. We also went to Keuka Lake during the summer. This is where we had our first fishing experiences.
As adults, Dave was my technical guru and muse to bounce ideas off.It never occurred to me that those days would end.
He was generous with his time with his family. My parents relied on his presence and that of his wife Bev. They were so proud of the man he had become.
David fought a valiant battle with cancer for two and a half years. Now he has relinquished that battle and gone to be with family and friends who predeceased him.
I love you David. You will forever be in my heart.

Dear Beverly and family, I just wanted you to know that I met Dave on Health Unlocked CLL support group and he was always such a bright person, even though I could tell things were very difficult for him. He said many times that you were his number 1 cheerleader, right by his side through thick and thin! I am blessed to have known him! Praying for you and your family in the days to come! Sincerely, Lisa Wiest

Bev, Danny: so sorry for your loss. We had so much fun, working at Kodak, all the Bloomsburg trips, slot-car racing and racing the Go-Karts at Minnehans. What a great guy! Dave will surely be missed.
