Bob was a graduate of Hilton High School and lovingly recalled growing up and working on his Uncle Art’s farm. It was there that he developed a love of tractors. He became a teacher of mechanical drafting at RIT and NTID. It was there that he met the love of his life, Linda. Bob and Linda were avid dog lovers, especially golden retrievers. Their first golden, Heidi, lived 15 years and, through GRROWLS, they adopted an 11-year-old golden retriever named Max that had the best three years of his life with them. Bob and Linda traveled across the country and visited every state and national park during their 41+ year marriage. Bob was a gentle man, a loving father, a wonderful grandfather and he will be dearly missed by us all.
There will be no calling hours. A private burial will be held in May. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Rochester at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 (Website) or RHAFT (Rush Henrietta Food Bank) P.O. Box 302, Henrietta, NY 14467 (Website)
