Obituary of Gerald Meade

Gerald Edward Meade, "Jerry" (Lt. Col US Army, retired) departed this life on May 4, 2020. Born 1929 in Rochester, NY.

He is survived by his wife, partner and soul mate, Mary Helen Meade after 68 years of marriage. Predeceased by sister, Patricia [Hartleben]. Also survived by eight children: Thomas (Jill) Meade, Margaret (Douglas) Gerlach, Eileen (Michael) Oklevitch, Barbara (Thomas) Nicholas, Paula (Michael) Schnurman, Daniel (Annette) Meade, Mark (Lorraine) Meade, and Mary Pat (Robert) Vogel, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Aquinas Institute and Niagara University, and was a CPA, Tax Accountant with Haskins & Sells, and for many years, Comptroller for Superba Cravats, Inc. in Rochester.

A Mass of Resurrection and services will be held at a later date.
