I would like to offer my condolences to Larry and family on Robyn's passing, much too early. But we graciously take what life gives us, don't we? I had an opportunity to know Robyn for two years. From my personal standpoint, Robyn was a pleasure to work with in several ways.
Firstly, she was completely dependable and reliable. She wasn't somebody that you even had to think about and those people are hard to find and usually don't get enough credit. Robyn was what I would call a go-to person.
But even more than that, she was well liked and respected by her peers.
Robyn was somebody I would seek out when I wanted the real scoop of how people were feeling about something going on in the work place. You knew she would give you the strait answer.
On the lighter side, she had a great sense of humor and she was also somebody you WANTED to joke around with because she would certainly give it right back.
She was a responsible person but also took responsibility for the people who worked for her.
I remember asking Robyn how much money she thought she had counted in her lifetime and she just answered "more than I have made." But of coarse she said it more colorfully!
Robyn never sent an email that wasn't in a different color font and I recall she corrected me on the spelling of her name immediately once I met her!
I hope that during my time working with Robyn and Larry as well, I somehow made their days at work a tad more tolerable.
Thank you Robyn Balliet and God bless.
