“With Sympathy”
Words can’t wipe away your tears.
Hugs won’t ease your pain.
But hold on to your memories.
Forever they’ll remain.”

Pleased to be part of the appreciative audience when the Campbell Brothers played to packed venues as part of the Golden Link concert series. What a joy to stand and "dance in place" as the music moved young and old. In the tradition of great Gospel music hiked up to a perfect resonance for prepared to let themselves be lifted. Found myself saying "I know them" when the Smithsonian inclusion was announced.
To all who loved Darick and held him close, I offer a fan's appreciation of his talent, a fellow Christian's joy of everlasting life and prayers for your mourning. May the peace of Christ surround you all of your days.

Bishop Charles, Deaconess Naomi, and Sister Pamela Campbell and Family, we were truly sadden to hear of Darick's passing. Our families share so many fond memories growing up in the church together; I loved ballin' with the Campbell Brothers during the General Assemblies. Darick's and your family's contributions to our church are fondly remembered and will always be cherished. Know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. We pray that fond memories and your faith will comfort you today and in the days to come.
