I have nothing but fond memories of Elliot, after having attended literally hundreds of meetings with him in both patent and environmental capacities during my 39 years with Kodak. His droll sense of humor, affability and quick-witted comments would lighten up a meeting from the very start and keep us chuckling periodically throughout. His sharp analysis of situations often cut to the heart of the matter and made the time go efficiently. He was valuable asset to the company, cheerful friend and will be missed. Tom Bober

Dear Judy and the family of Elliot,
I am so sorry to hear of Elliot's passing. I had the privilege and honor of being a long time friend of this wonderful man. We spent many years together on the tennis courts trying to play a sport we both loved. But honestly I couldn't wait until the last point was over so we could get back to the club house and hear a litany of Elliot stories. Were they funny? sometimes. Were they amusing? sometimes. Did he enjoy telling them ? All the time! He was a man born with a tremendous gift. That twinkle in his eye and that devious snicker brought so much joy to all his friends. Judy he absolutely worshipped you and was so proud of his son. Words cannot describe how much I will miss my friend. I am very sorry for your loss. Love, Jack Rosati

Greg and I convey our sympathies to Judy and the family. I was privileged to work with Elliott on occasion as outside counsel on environmental matters prior to his retirement, and always enjoyed his keen mind, sharp wit, and self-effacing sense of humor. One memorable evening, when Judy and Elliott joined us for dinner at a local restaurant, Elliott grabbed my husband's cell phone and called his (Greg's) 90+ year old mother to "fact check" a humorous story. I don't think we ever laughed so hard at a restaurant in all our lives. Even though we hadn't been in touch much recently, we remember him fondly. Jean McCreary and Greg Franklin

Sad to learn of Elliott’s passing. He was a great counsel and advisor for our health imaging business at Kodak. I got to know him well in the ‘90s. He always had an open door for me on the 12th floor and he loved a good joke that poked fun at lawyers. RIP

It is with great sadness that I heard of Elliott’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him on many health, safety, and environmental (HSE) issues, and remember him fondly. His presence and humor lit up a room. I remember one car ride to an out of town meeting, for example, where Elliott had just come off a diet and was eating an apple. He described it with gusto, savoring each bite while giving a play-by-play of his enjoyment. About half-way through that apple, Hays and I were both thinking about tearing it away from him to eat it ourselves. His quick wit was also always appreciated. We were in London one time, walking down the street, Elliott’s ankle gave out and he fell, executing a beautiful roll and popping back up saying “The Russian judge gives a 9”, we were too busy laughing to ask if he was ok. Although many remember him for his humor, his work to develop and improve our HSE activities also need to be mentioned. He was critical to many projects, including establishing an audit program, addressing neighborhood concerns and setting HSE performance standards that went beyond regulations. Elliott made any task more enjoyable through his down-to-earth humor, and he will be greatly missed by those of us who knew and worked with him.

I have fond memories of working with Elliott at Kodak. While he kept a great understanding of the environmental issues we were dealing with, he gave a humanistic sense of perspective. As with any good attorney, there was a dose of humor in every conversation. My condolences to his family. - Robert Call

I will always remember you for how kind you are, the support you gave for my yoga classes at the tennis club and for the humor and light heartedness you brought with you to class each week! May you rest peacefully Elliott!
