I will always remember Mrs. Pitcher greeted you with a warm friendly smile and always had something positive to say, which was a wonderful quality of her personality. One Summer she made a surprise visit to my grandfather Dr. Joseph R. Stio at his home in the 1000 Islands as she was driving through the area with her family as they headed up to Canada for vacation. For weeks my grandfather talked about his conversation with Mildred and how her visit lifted his spirits and helped bring back so many good memories since they were from the same generation. I also remember Mrs. Pitcher mentioning how much she loved lighthouses and collected illustrations and figurines of them. She said they reminded her of vacations up to Canada and the seaway when she was young. I imagine much like a lighthouse tower illuminating the waterways to safely guide boats, God has sent his radiant light to Mrs. Mildred Pitcher to guide her home to heaven to join her husband Donald who has been waiting to see her loving smile once again.

David, Dan, Your MOM, Mildred was a wonderful neighbor to us for our 25 years here in Conesus. She always had a smile and friendly hello. She was so proud of her boys and provided a strong role model for you both to achieve so much. We missed her when she moved back to Rochester due to her health and the lake will miss her more now that she has passed. RIP Mildred. Andy & LeAnne Marquis, Conesus, NY

So sorry to read of Mildred's passing. We are caretakers for Charlotte Hillsberg who lives at The Lodge. Had many intimate conversations with Mary Anne about Mildred and her dedicated work ethic. Because of Covid-19 we just recently visited with Charlotte outdoors for the first time since March. Please accept our deepest condolences. Alzheimer's is such an emotional disease for both the patient and the family. May your good memories help you through your grieving period. RIP Mildred

Nana was always an important part of the Pitcher family vacation at Loughborough lake in Canada. I remember having Nana in my boat and how she really enjoyed being on the water and fishing with the family. I used to laugh at how hard to she tried to preserve bait - insisting that it could be used over and over again and catch more fish. In the end, she was right. She was very proud of her family and lit up any time she was with her grandchildren - I am lucky to have known her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love from your Northern Family
