Very sorry to hear of Professor Redlo's passing last year as I was just thinking about him and my economics classes back in 2006. One of the funniest and intellectual people I've ever met and I'm happy to have gotten to learn from such a great guy.

There are so many wonderful memories from Hebrew school and college and years beyond that it's hard to choose one. Many days Mitchell and I would leave Buffalo State and stop at Anderson's on our way home, sitting and chatting for hours. There were so many lunches and dinners at each other's houses and pitchers of beer at the pub on campus. After college there were holiday and many nights just hanging out when we were in Rochester. Mitchell made everyone feel at ease, from my parents, who knew him like one of the family, to my great aunts who loved his jokes when they visited. Later, he adopted my husband, Alan, from the start in his warm hearted way. The most important thing I will always remember about Mitch is how he did make me and everyone else feel- like you were the most important person he knew. Even though I had not seen him in recent years, the memories flooded back clear and fresh. We were all lucky to have had some time with Mitch in our lives.

Jesse so sorry for your loss. As you well know, you were the twinkle in your dads eye.Look up find your star.... he is most certainly looking down and bragging about you. He will be missed, even when I so rudely woke him up at the crack of dawn for a visit... he'd have a full smile and made my mornings better. May he rest in peace -Kris

There are several memories that come to mind, and it would be too hard to choose one. All I can say is whenever we all were together for family vacations, it was always fun, filled with tear-provoking laughter, and perspectives on life delivered in a way only Mitch could do. The "Plotnik Diamond" will always be my favorite, and buying new appliances won't be the same without you convincing me we should get the one with all the "bells and whistles". Always best when your brother is paying the bill!
I will truly miss your sense of humor and your take on how we should live the good life. Rest in peace. Michele (sister-in-law)

Mitch was so kind to me and generous with helpful advice when I first came to work and teach at RIT. I admire how committed he was to his students; they respected and appreciated him. I met Mitch and Jesse often at work parties. When I first met them, Jesse was a young boy. It has been beautiful to observe over the years the bond they share. I marvel now at all that Jesse has accomplished. I can imagine how proud his Dad is of him.

I have known Mitch as a fun loving person who also cared deeply about his students. It was always interesting to chat with him on a variety of topics in the news. This is very sad news and I would like to extend my deepest condolences to his family and, in particular, to his son Jesse. RIP, Mitch!

I am so sorry to hear of Mitch's passing. I knew Mitch for many years in a professional capacity when he was an adjunct professor of Economics at RIT. But more importantly, I knew Mitch as a good friend during that time. Mitch was a kind and loving person. He made the world a better place. His smile and sense of humor always brought sunshine into the lives of those he touched. He will be sorely missed. I will carry Mitch's memory in my heart.
