Virendra Kumar Tarneja, 73, left for heavenly abode on Friday, August 28th, 2020. He was born on November 11th, 1946 to late Sumitra Rani and Tulsi Dass Tarneja. Virendra ji, as he was lovingly called, was an Engineer who graduated from IIT Kanpur and emigrated to America in 1995. He had a highly successful career at Dunlop, Modi Rubber, Modi Xerox, and Xerox USA, and he was based in Rochester, New York. An avid reader of business and political news, Virendra ji is remembered for both his intelligence and humility. He enjoyed playing bridge, painting, and trading stocks in his free time. Virendra ji was also deeply spiritual, and he was the head of the Rochester branch of Sant Nirankari Mission. He nurtured strong relationships with his family members and peers.

Virendra ji is survived by his wife, Rajni, his two precious sons, Sumit and Deepesh, and his siblings Chander Kanta (late Rajinder), Kailash, Suman (Ashok), Sneh (Sudhir), Meenu (late Davinder) and Pramod (Anu).  

He is predeceased by his brother Brahm (Savita).  He will be sorely missed by his friends and family all that who knew him for his loving, jovial, and kind spirit.
