I am writing you to express my deepest sympathy for you and your family. I have also lost a loved one in death and I cannot express how sad I felt at that time. But I found great comfort God's word, the Bible. Isaiah 26:19 tells us that our dead ones will live again. Also I found comfort at Revelation 21:3,4 where it God promises us that no one will say I am sick and there will be no more pain or sickness. Death will be no more. These are promises that God makes to us in the near future. It brough me great comfort knowing that my dead loved ones would be brought back to life and we will all live together in peace and happiness with no more death or sickness. I hope these scriptures brought you great comfort as well.

Dan, Gina, Kathy, Ed, Dick, and Steve,
So many lives are better because of your Mom and how she lived her life, mine included. This world seems diminished knowing "Mrs. Rowan" is no longer physically with us.
About a year ago, I knew her time was short and I kept a picture of her that my Mom took the last time she saw her in a drawer that I would see almost everyday. I did this to remind myself about what it means to live with kindness.
The last time I saw her (2006), I was showing her pictures of my son. She asked me if I was going to have any more children and I told her I was hanging by my fingernails with the one, yes that's right, the one, I had. She looked at me, smiled and said, "Chicken."
Her heart, humor and humility will never be forgotten.
Mary...into Paradise, may the angels lead you.
My Love to All of You,
Dennis P.Q. Weatherby

To Kathy, Gina, Steve, Dick, Ed and Dan: I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. She was a sweet second mother to me during my high school years ('56' - '60)'. I used to delivery the afternoon newspaper and it would take a long time to finish as I had to stop and chat at the Rowans and partake in the delicious chocolate chip cookies (or brownies).... unlike Kem Mackey who had the banana cream pie made just for him (I had a slice or two) :) :) :) You all were so blessed. Remember all those good times!
God bless your Mother and all of you.
Love, David

To all the Rowans: For wonderful, rich, lasting memories for a dear friend (whom I met when I was 4!!) who was like a second mother all my growing up years. I will always remember "Mary" for meaningful discussions, advice, and banana cream pie she made especially for me. May God bless Mary and all the Rowans. Love, Kem

Mary and her family were our closest connection to the Mack family as I was growing up in Rochester. She was my Mother's (Eileen Bauer Baumann)favorite cousin. My Mother will be very happy to be with her again.
