Obituary of Helen K. Metzger

Helen K. Metzger Rochester: Left us on Memorial Day, May 31, 2010. Helen was born in Rochester in 1918, the eldest daughter of Walter and Erna Werner. She was the widow of William E. Metzger Jr. and is survived by her sister Evelyn Peer of Naples Florida, her only son Bruce and his wife Nancy, three grandchildren, Christopher, Elise, Dina and her husband Kenneth Haislip, and three great-grandchildren, Kenneth, Jesse, and Lacey. Helen graduated from Monroe High School and was employed thereafter by Delco Products (a division of GM) for 45 years. She began work as an hourly employee in 1936 and retired in 1981 as Traffic Dept. Supervisor. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Home Rochester, New York Birthplace Rochester, New York
