Obituary of William R. Ross

Passed away suddenly, at home, on January 3, 2011 at age 91. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Marian; daughter, Ann (Bill) Farress; brother, James Ross; sister Virginia (Fred) Kukura; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Bill was a graduate of Irondequoit High School, attended Trinity College, graduating from the U of R in 1948. He worked in the mechanical engineering field at Rochester Products and Graflex. Taught at the college level and became an assistant professor at the GM Institute and guest lecturer at Detroit University. Founded Ross Motors Webster Corp. in 1960, one of the first duel Dodge and British Leyland franchises in the area. He retired from the auto industry in 1989.
