On January 24, 2011 at age 88. He is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years Jean (Balsizer) Caryl; children, Robert (Kathleen) Caryl, Cynthia Collins, Bruce (Pam) Caryl, AnnMarie (Rick) McManus, Mary (Alan) Aufderheide; grandchildren, Sarah Lange, Darcy (Jessica) Collins, Caitlin & Tyler Caryl, Andrew & Emmie Aufderheide; great grandchildren, Thomas & Jacob Lange; sister-in-law Eileen Ferguson.
