Mike & I went to St Augustine's AND King's Prep together. I just found out he is gone. The world is less bright with the loss of Mike. He was always a good guy, even as a boy & I will miss him.

I regret having to find out about the death of my father from a website, upon the day that I return home from a year in Afghanistan. All I can say is that I am forever greatful to what was a great man, a great grandfather, and most of all a great father to myself. My only regret is that I was not a better son.
Love you dad, hope that one day we will see eachother again.

All the fun and good times the Crispino and Malerk families shared are memories I will always cherish. There was no place like Hobart St. Mike, I'll never forget that you are the rose between two thorns. Give Bill, Betty and Grandma Shannon a kiss for me.

The way Mike's face would light up whenever he greeted someone he knew is the memory I will carry in my heart. Though time and location often seperated us, he could take up the conversation as if it was yesterday that we last parted. May his love for God, family and friends, his smile, his compassion and his playfulness live on through all who knew him. I will be there in thought and prayer as you traverse this difficult time.

Mike was someone who always had a laugh and light-hearted approach to life's problems. He is one of the few seniors that I distinctly remember at Cardinal Mooney. He never knew it but helped me through some troubled times as a teenager. I will be praying for his family and those he touched on a regular basis.

Dear Chris and Dan, my heart is broken at the thought of Michael's passing. He was still needed here. Michael was our "Chaplain" in high school, a steady guiding hand to many, but always with humor and that smile. He will be missed. I was so happy to reconnect with him in the past few years. My prayers continue for your family.

Mr. Malerk, the memories I shared with you, Dan, and Chris as a boy still make me laugh. I will never forget watching movies on the projection screen in the backyard, and reading the many books in your library. Your support of my own writing is something I hold close to my heart and will continue as I long as I write. I love you and will miss your kind, giving spirit for all time. Peace and Love Always,
Stephen

Mike's committment to his Faith, "Family", his wife, children, grandchildren, all those he came in touch with and life can be best described as unselfish and "sacrificial giving". Christ tells us to "Love one another as I have loved you". Michael did! I'm sure God has already welcomed him home and said: "Well done my good and faithful servant, well done." Well done brother, well done. We hope for the day to see you once again in the presence of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Save a seat next to you. You and I still have lots to talk about. PS: The Orioles are still better than those Yanks! :o)~ Jimmy
