Dear Jan, Joel and Tara
we are deeply saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Our hearts and prayers are with you during these difficult times. We have known Joe since our teenage years. You have many fond memories during the many years gone past and the strong courage Joe gave to all of us during his fight with his illness. we will always remember the 2010 reunion at your residence. Joe loved hockey, we will never forget the glee in his eyes when we presented him with the Falcons hockey golf shirt. It reminded him of the many hockey games we attended at the Garden City Arena.
we are making a donation on Joe's behalf at the St. Catharines Cancer Center. Sincerely Carol and Walt

Our thoughts of love and comfort go out to you all at this sad time. Joe was a wonderful neighbor. He was always helpful to our aging parents with many acts of kindness over the equally many years we called him our friend. We will never forget his generous spirit of giving which made a deep impression on us all.
Joe, was a proud fellow Canadian and that's putting it mildly. He was loyal his life long to his beloved Canada (while being the best of the USA had to offer too). We get that in our family though. We grew up with all the "Canada is truly amazing..." stories from our own Canadian relatives. When Bob and I moved to Boulder,CO years ago, it was Joe who pointed out the inventor of Crocs was actually Canadian-ha!! In our family we always use to talk about Joe when Canadian teams won anything. We all were elated when the Winter Olympics were in Vancouver and he lived to see it. Vancouver really knocked it out of the park for us all- we were all really proud !
Throughout Joe's life and even his journey through illness he remained positive and strong. Jan always kept us well informed and we thank her for that. We loved the photos of family and trips together. We were on the edge of our seat with the medical updates. Joe's life, was a life well lived. He was surrounded by the comfort and caring of his loving family and the kindness and concern of friends. We are grateful that the life of Joe Trojanowski touched ours. You will be deeply missed by the Baier-Simon family. We wish you, his family, peace and the comfort of the wonderful memories you had together.

Jan, Joel & Tara we were deeply saddened to hear of Joe's passing. May you find comfort in knowing that he is at peace and is no longer suffering. We know that the days ahead will be both sad and lonely for you but your cherished memories will help you through this most difficult time. We knew from meeting him that he was devoted to his family and loved them dearly. His spirit will continue to live on in each of you and in Ana, Max, Olive and Luxen. May God's unfailing love and presence help your grief and strengthen you. Sorry we're not closer, our love to you all. Dorothy and Susan

If one day we could be loved, missed and remembered half as much as Joe, well then the world will be perfect. I know the rest of us are better for having known Joe. I know we are all that much stronger for seeing all the love Joe, Jan, Joel and Tara have for each other. It is that love, shared so freely with all of us as well, that makes us all one step closer to being to seeing a perfect world. With gratitude and a full heart I am lucky to say I will continue to see Joe everyday in Tara, Olive and Luxen. Thank you Joe.

Dear Jan, Joel and Tara,
You are all like family to us and we feel we have lost a family member with Joe’s passing. He taught us so much about life - how to find strength in weakness, how to stay loyal to childhood beliefs and dreams in spite of a changing world, how to maintain deep and meaningful friendships throughout a lifetime, and yes, even how to find a great bargain while remaining incredibly generous.
We hope you will find peace as you watch Joe’s legacy unfold in the eyes and personalities of Max, Ana, Olive and Luxen.
We loved Joe and we love you.
With fondness and profound respect,
Ken and Diane

Dear Joe.
We are very sorry and sad that you left us so soon. You will be missed very much. We had lots of unfinished living to do, and just have to catch up later, when we meet again and continue where we left off. It will be your turn to buy me a Molsons and a coke for Lilo.
Our love to all of you! Lilo and Erwin
