Obituary of Zane A. Morris

Zane, a beloved husband and proud father passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 at his home, after a heroic two year battle against ALS. Born May 5, 1950 in Latrobe, Pa, son of the late Harry and Betty Baird Morris and brother to the late James Morris. Zane was a devoted husband to Genevieve Cerk Morris and loving father to Christopher and Daniel. He was an avid fisherman, wonderful friend, and a proud 36 year retiree of Xerox Corp. He will be remembered for his contagious enthusiasm and genuine smile. Zane is survived by spouse and best friend Genevieve; sons, Christopher and Daniel, and their fiancées Lauren Hunt and Brienne Olsen; sister, Kathleen (David) Orbin; mother-in-law, Dorothy and father-in-law Anthony Cerk; brother’s and sister’s in-law Kathleen (Richard) Dressler, Dorothy Cerk, Johanna (William) Harden, Karl (Mona) Cerk, Mary Diane (Edward) Bowman, Paul (Becci) Cerk, and cherished nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
