I will miss Dick's bear hugs and his constant supply of jokes. On our RRTA trips to Shaw, I could always rely on Dick to tell me a joke. His wonderful laughter could always be heard on the bus. He was a man of commitment to his fellow man, especially children. The Rochester City School District and the teachers who serve there owe a debt of gratitude to Dick for his unselfish service to them over the years. He was a wonderful human being and will be missed by many people. God's Blessing to Sue and his family.

The whole Berger family will never forget the years that Dick coached them in high school swimming. He did so much for all three of them. I will always remember the pancake breakfast before the sectionals when he arrived at our house with the school bus for breakfast. George and I will always remember the years of friendship we had with officiating many games. He was so special. Our thoughts are with you Sue.

Deep within me, this man, man of all men, Dick was so kind, so REAL, so loyal. He & Sue helped me through one of the toughest periods of my life. I am at a loss, and the world, the city kids of Rochester, all of us grieve for this beautiful human being.

We only have the fondest memories of Dick. He taught us the fundamentals of sailing with miniature boats on a picnic table then induced terror into us by telling us to sail off into the sunset in the real thing. We owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude for getting us off to a good start and will truly miss him.
We send our love and sympathy to Sue and his family. God bless him.

Coach Raymond...an inspirational person that brought out the best in his swimmers. I used to go to my late sister's Melissa (1960-2010) and Tracey's (1961-2001) Saturday swim practice when I was eleven years old. One day Melissa told me that Coach Raymond said that I have potential. He was the first person outside my family that believed in me, not only as a swimmer, but as a person as well. I have so many fond memories...he will always have a special place in my heart.
Gods Blessings and comfort to you Miss (Juda) Raymond and your family

We will miss our friend, Dick. One of the first members we met at CYC, He made us feel welcome. He was friendly, easy going, and always fun to be around. While Dick was very active at CYC in front of the scenes, he was even more so behind the scenes, an unsung hero, performing a mirade of duties for many, many years, which most members were not even aware. Our most fond memories of Dick were his and Sue's unique costumes at the annual Halloween party. Anita will especially remember his fondness for Winnie the Pooh, since she is also a huge fan. Our love to Sue, their children and all those who knew and loved Dick.
