I have plenty of memories of Troy. When I was 15 my Mother, Sister, Brother and I all moved in with Troy,Sue,Thomas,Chris and Travis. I remember when both Brian and Sarah were born. I love all of them so dearly they were all like my second family. Troy was a lot like a Father to me being I never really knew mine. Troy was a very Strong man with an intense amount of passion for what he believed in. We All Miss You Troy!!

I never knew Mr. Hirschfelt, but I have had both Brian and Sarah in school. Brian has had a few conversations with me about his family situation, and I was in awe of his strength and love for his dad and how difficult this situation was and is for him. He has such a heart for his family, worrying about everybody, even the pets that will need to have new homes. I don't know how much he talks at home, but I wanted to share what he might not say at home. Please accept my condolences and if there is any way I can ease his and Sarah's burdens at school, just say the word. I don't have them in classes right now, but they know where I am if they want to talk, or vent, or just have a safe place to go away from home. I am sure our guidance counselor and principal will provide safe havens as well. I just wanted you to know that Brian and Sarah are loved and cared for at school as well. I pray for your strength in getting through this difficult time. And that Mr. Hirschfelt will live on through Brian and Sarah---and the children that I never met---but his legacy will go on. Sincerely, Sharon Madison

Troy was one of the System Administrtors you wanted to see when your computer was down. He was quietly funny, and his love for Hawaiian shirts always made me think he was on constant holiday! My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. He was a good man.
