Hi Mom; It is Saturday 02/27/2010 9:30 a.m. I have 3 day care kids here, but I had a few quiet minutes & thought I'd give you a call. I guess reality has not set in yet, cause you'd never answer the telephone this time if I had called. This is one of those things in life they need to find a cure for, because it has never in my life made any sence as to why a person can go through so much in life just to have it all end in this thing called death. Maybe it's so the world doesn't get to heavy ?????? "Stay well mom" Guess I'll see ya when it's my turn to lighten the planets load.

I remember me and grandma taking road trips to visit her sister dawn and the rest of the family, we used to love going there in the fall and seeing all the leaves change colors.we used to go to the grape festival every year just to get a grape pie and see the crafts that people have made.Grandma used to show me how to cook and bake after school just about every day. grandma was such a loving and caring woman, if any one ever needed anything she was always there to help them out. she was one of the strongest women I knew, she raised 8 children, while being the wife of a truck driver which must have been extremely difficult at times, but you made it look easy. she also helped raise 11 grandchildren and got most of us to them to adult hood. After grandpa died she always did her best to keep it together for the rest of us. when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, we were all scarred to death of losing her, but she fought hard and beat it the first time, when she suffered her first stroke she also fought that and didn't give up. After all of that she finally decided it was her time to rest and to go join grandpa in heaven where she will be happy instead of suffering. she was never given the credit she deserved in getting all of us where we are today in life. she will be greatly missed but never be forgotten. I feel sad that she is gone but I feel a lot safer now knowing her and grandpa are together watching down on us to make sure we stay safe. Thank you for being there for me through the years grandma.
