On May 17, 2011 at age 88. Predeceased by his wife Betty W. Bayer; son, Scott Bayer; grandson, Jeremy Bayer & brother, Donald Bayer. He is survived by his children, Gail (John McCarthy) Bayer, Pamela (Keith Sanford) Bayer, James (Judy) Bayer, Margaret "Peggy" (Matt) Fusco, Michael (Cathy) Bayer, Mark (Ann) Bayer, Julie (Wayne) Wegman, Craig Bayer, Lisa (Tim) Freida; 26 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jean Bayer & Jean (Joseph) Rodecker; many nieces, nephews & dear friends.
