While living with Ryan for a year in college, and remaining close friends as the years have moved on, Mrs. Koseski treated all of his friends as extended family. Her passion for everything, and warm smile is one that will never be forgotten by anyone who had the good fortune of crossing paths with her. Deepest condolences to the entire family, and may the good lord bless her in eternal rest.

In memory of Sue: I worked with Sue for 9 years in the 80's. She always had a smile and shared stories of her boys Ryan and Nicholas. I still stay connected at the U of R and was saddened when I found out about Sue's illness. I feel blessed to have shared a decade working with Sue. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

I met Sue back in the early 70's when we worked at Schlegel. We became good friends.I have many memories of us doing things together. She was in my wedding. I now live in Virginia. Three years ago, while I was home for a visit I got together with Sue, Paula and our friend Linda. I am so very sorry for your loss. Whenever I think of Sue I can see her pretty blue eyes and beautiful smile.

The news of Sue passing is very sad to hear. I worked for Sue for 4 years. In that time my father was in the ICU for one month due to lung disease and ultimately died of that disease. Sue went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of during this time in my life. I will never forget her for that and, I do believe, that my father is thanking her as well in heaven.

I had the pleasure of working with Sue at Orthopaedics. I really got to see the loving and caring person she was when I faced a tragedy in my personal life. The outpouring of support she offered me during that time was unmeasurable. I wish her family and all her friends that same kindness, loving, and caring that Sue gave every day. Sue has earned her angel wings and is flying high among them.

I will never forget you, Sue. We have known each other since 1982. GNO kept us united. We have been through everything that can possibly happen in one's lifetime. So where do we go from here? You were always there for me. My only regret is that I couldn't be there for you...a new lung. Love you sweetheart! Always will

To The Koseski Family and Friends,
We are so sorry. Sue was a great friend to me, although I have not lived in Rochester for several years, our hearts stayed close and our friendship stayed strong. Sue never held back her generosity; thoughtfulness was a part of her, whether it was giving a memento or just listening and having a sincere interest in her loved ones. She was my Matron of Honor at our wedding 3 short years ago. Sue took this title very seriously and she single-handedly made sure our wedding was special. Her sincere, kind and generous spirit created several celebrations for us. I am grateful she was my friend and I will miss my friend. Sue has left us with a lot of wonderful memories and fun times together (isn’t that just like her). I am not ready to accept this, but I know we all must. Words cannot express how sad and lost I feel that it has come to this unexpected outcome. Please know that David and I love Sue so much and always will. Her smiling voice and generous spirit will remain in all of our hearts.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Koseski family during this difficult time.
Sue will be greatly missed by many at the University of Rochester. She was a very kind, and compassionate individual- truly, a one of a kind!! I only knew Sue for 2 years- and during that short amount of time I came to know Sue as an excellent role model for all areas of life- work, family, and shopping (we talked about that one a lot!). I’ll miss seeing and talking to her… Rest in peace Sue.

To the Koseski family,
I couldn't believe it when I saw the notice in the paper. I worked with Sue over 4 years in Orthopaedics and can't say what an amazing boss she was to me. Something that always was so evident was her love for her family. Unfortunately I don't live in the area now but please know that I will be there in my heart. God Bless all of you.
Sincerely,

Sue was always there to listen to more than she wanted to know from everyone in the Orthopaedic Department. She was a friend as well as co-worker, and I shall miss our talks regarding Siesta Key, our favorite beach vacation to catch the rays. Rest in peace. You shall be in our thoughts as you touched many.

Sue, words cannot express how much you will be missed! My heart and prayers go out to Gary, Ryan, Nick, and the rest of your family. The memories I have of you are endless! From the formal where Nick and Kimmy went together with the adidas shoes, to the first time I walked into your office incredibly nervous but feeling so calm within seconds due to your smile, to taking over three hours to get home in a snow storm but laughing through it all, to waiting endlessly for you and my Mom while you chatted away after work. You have done more for myself and my family than ever imaginable and I will never forget you! You will be missed greatly but I know you are watching from above! Thank you for being such a wonderful person with the biggest heart imaginable!

To the family, friends, and loved ones of Sue my thoughts and prayers go out to you and hope that you will find comfort in your memories of Sue during this difficult time. As a co-worker of Sue I knew her wonderful gift of making anyone in her presence instantly comfertable and at ease. Any time I had the chance to see Sue was a pleasure and joy...even when i fell and sprained my ankle in the hallway of the hospital Sue made sure the right people were called and stayed with me until they came. Everytime after that when she would see me she would make sure to ask about my ankle and to remind me not to hurt myself. lol I will miss Sue and her calmness and sweetness. I am confident that she is looking down at all of us and making sure that those she loved and cared for will still be loved and cared for. She was an amazing women.

Upon moving to Rochester 6 years ago, Sue was the one that hired me and unselfishly gave my name to another department to start earlier than the date she would have had me start. Her graciousness has led me to a great department. I will miss seeing her and working with her. May your great memories of her help you through this very difficult time.

To my dear friend Sue,I will truly miss your amazing smile and our funny little talks we had every evening when I walked past your office as I left work for the day. Our families and children grew up together thru soccer as Gary and Terry coached, so many school events. moving up days, PTA projects, etc. The German exchange students, (where you "DID" get the good German) :)~ and yes thru those famous pancake breakfasts for the boy scouts. You were always there for me. You and your wonderful family, Gary, Ryan & my precious little Nick will forever be in my heart.I miss you friend and always will. Love, Terry

Gary, Nick, Ryan, and family. Words cannot express the deep sadness and heartbreak we feel for the loss of Sue. She was one of the most genuine, nice, caring, hard working, loving people we have ever known. She is now a beautiful angel in Heaven whom I know is looking down and watching over all of you.
Nick... I can remember growing up and you and I went to the 8th grade formal together and you wore your black and white Adidas. She was soo funny...she couldn't believe how handsome you looked but couldn't give up your Adidas haha :D. But she didn't say anything cause she knew it made you happy :). That's what Sue was all about... all she wanted was pure happiness for her family and friends and we are honored to have known her a lifetime.
May the comfort and love from all your family and friends get you through this terribly tough time and please ALWAYS know that the whole Lemmer family will ALWAYS be here for you. Love you guys Tons!
Sincerely,
Kim and Pete Blankenburg (Lemmer)
